Can Men attend Moontides?
Men are welcome to attend Moontides. We encourage men to attend fertility consultations, the preconception care and hypnobirthing workshops with their partner. What should I bring to my consultation?
Think of your naturopath as an investigator looking for evidence. The more information you provide the better they will be able to manage your case. So, if you have any pathology reports, x-ray or other imaging reports please bring them to your first consultation. Please also bring information regarding any medicines you are taking including the name and dose (this includes any natural medicines you are taking). Is it safe to take herbs or vitamins with medicines my doctor prescribed?
Just because something is natural doesn't necessarily mean it is safe, especially when combined with other medicines. Some herbs or nutrients may interfere with medicines from your doctor or even medicines you buy over the counter at the chemist or supermarket. That's why its really important to let your Naturopathic Case Manager know all the medicines you are taking and the dosage. At Moontides your safety is our highest priority. Our naturopaths are all qualified to prescribe natural remedies while taking into consideration any medicines you are already taking. If they are in doubt at any time they can request information from our research and development department.
